I really like this watch. I am a fan of automatic movement skeleton watches and i had been looking for a good one in my budget for a while now. I was hoping for a swiss made, but i ended up settling for this one instead.
After owning this watch for about a month, i'm still pretty pleased with it. It is a good watch, but there are still some issues with it;
BAND: First off, i had heard from others that metal mesh bands tend to pull arm hairs and can be really annoying. I have had that problem with previous watches and while it is definitely annoying, i was willing to sacrifice a little bit of pain for a nice watch. However, in the month that i have had this watch, that has not been a problem for me. It happened once or twice in the first week that i owned the watch, but never since then.
However, I have had problems with one of the rounded "corners" of the watch band digging into my wrist. I have developed a callous at the spot, so it... Read more

In the beginning, this was a great watch. It was very accurate and it looked nice. But on the third week the stud came off. It wouldn't have been a problem but I couldn't find it.

It has been about five years since I have bought a decent watch. Traditionally I would buy Fossil's because they were cheap and durable. But at some point since then Fossil's are no longer cheap. And the last Fossil I bought the watch was huge, and I had to send it back. I've been looking at this one for some time, and I finally worked up the courage to buy this one. Well I'm into my first week and I honestly love this watch. Its really about on par with other watches as far as size. It is subtle not too flashy, can be used casually or just as a daily clunker, and man does it look good! The metal band also is surprising comfortable. Needs to be wound frequently but thats why I bought a mechanical. It was a good buy.

Automatic Watches
Automatic watches donot operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. Automatic movements mark the passage of time by a series of gear mechanisms, and are wound by the movement of your wrist as you wear it. The gear train then transmits the power to the escapement, which distributes the impulses, turning the balance wheel. The balance wheel is the time regulating organ of a mechanical watch, which vibrates on a spiral hairspring. Lengthening or shortening the balance spring makes the balance wheel go faster or slower to advance or retard the watch. The travel of the balance wheel from one extreme to the other and back again is called oscillation. Lastly, automatic movements come in different types, including movements that are Swiss-made, Japanese-made, and more.
Also referred to as self-winding, watches with automatic movements utilize kinetic energy, the swinging of your arm, to provide energy to an oscillating rotor to keep the watch ticking. They're considered more satisfying to watch collectors (horologists) because of the engineering artistry that goes into the hundreds of parts that make up the movement. If you do not wear an automatic watch consistently (for about 8 to 12 hours a day), you can keep the watch powered with a watch winder (a great gift for collectors).
Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance.
Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Invicta Men's 8930 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch Reviews
This review is from: Invicta Men's 8930 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch (Watch)
I own and have seen/handled several expensive watches from $5k to $35$ in price. This one really does look like it belongs in that group based on just looking at it. The quality, packaging, etc is also reflective of a watch that costs a great deal more. The only real differences I see from the Rolexes and Omegas is the weight and feel of the watch when you handle it, and very minor workmanship touches that you have to closely inspect to see(you really have to be looking for them and inspect closely). And, of course for the price of this watch, if you are dissapointed by that, then you are probably going to be disappointed by any watch that doesn't come with a price tag in the thousands. If you are looking for an absolutely beatiful watch that is well made, looks like the expensive swiss made watches, and generally has the quality of a much more expensive watch, then you have found it. For the price they are selling these for, you absolutely cannot go wrong.

I purchased the 8920 blue faced Pro Diver watch 6 weeks ago and have been very pleased with it. It is my first Automatic watch and the idea of not having to have batteries replaced yearly was appealing. I mostly bought this watch for the looks. It is a beautiful watch and looks a lot like the much more expensive ones. The materials and construction appear to be quite good. This watch gains about 5 minutes a month which is within normal findings. I expect that to be closer to 2-3 minutes per month after more time goes on. I have received many compliments on how nice the watch looks. Two items to note: Obviously you must keep it wound by wearing it regularly or using a winder. I found a nice winder on Amazon for $39 which works great.
The second item of note is one that that I haven't seen in any review and that is the color of the bracelet. It is very nice, if you like the Rolex bracelet look (and I do), but... it has just a bit of a brassy color to it. It's not bad... Read more

Stuhrling Original’s Special Reserve collection was created to honor the timepieces we’ve produced that deserve extra attention. Some of our finest and most well known watches can be found here, and this is especially true when you’re talking about the Old World Treasure Series. We’ve included horologic wonders here that shock and amaze from the moment you first set eyes on them with full intention on keeping your attention for years to come. Here is the latest addition to the series: the Emperor’s Grandeur. True to its name, the Grandeur makes an exceptionally grand impression; this watch doesn’t just feature one or two details that make it stand out. The entire piece as a whole is bold, imposing, beautiful, and has a commanding presence that can’t be found anywhere else. A spectacular achievement of craftsmanship, the Grandeur bears a few similarities to its predecessor, the Emperor, but this timepiece is larger by 8mm, bringing the case size to 50mm! Whereas the Emperor features an open heart complication that displays the balance wheel, the Grandeur is completely skeletal, and on top of that, it is a pure mechanical watch, the way watches were made over two hundred years ago! The movement, ST-91011 caliber, was tested and certified by our highly trained and certified watch makers has 22-jewels and powers the balance wheel at 21,600 vibrations per hour. On top of that, the Emperor’s Grandeur has an amazing 60 hour power reserve! That’s five days on a pure mechanical movement! The massive case was blanked from solid bars of 316L surgical grade stainless steel, and along with our very own Krysterna crystals, this handsome timepiece is rugged and well protected in form and stature. Equipped with an alligator embossed genuine leather strap, strapping on the Emperor’s Grandeur will give you a commanding presence that cannot be ignored.

Absolutely an incredible watch. Just was to big for my wrist. I have a medium boned wrist and was suprised that the watch was just to big. Unfortunately, I would have like to have kept it.

What makes this watch one to own is the DOUBLE BARREL movement that is inside this beauty. I own three Stuhrling's myself, (including the desireable tourby)! My wife owns one as well. The skeletonized dial, dual time feature, and the AM/PM indicator is really a nice touch. Wears well eather dressed up or in jeans. I am a watch collector, and this beauty gets plenty of wrist time.
Enjoy!
