The Stuhrling Original Men's Classic Collection Delphi Achilles Automatic Skeleton Watch was named after one of the Greek classic heroes – a man of unchallenged bravery and strength. Right off the bat you can tell this timepiece is part of the Delphi series because of its classic triple step design bezel; it is the dialwork that makes this watch unique in the eyes of its peers. Achilles was famous for his skill on the chariot, and the dial of the Delphi Achilles features a spoke-like design that makes it similar to a chariot wheel. This timepiece also boasts several color executions that deviate away from the standard silvertone, goldtone, and rosetone; you will find a splash of color, including bright reds and brilliant greens that add a sporty personality enhanced by the ridged rubber strap. And as you can expect from Stuhrling Original, the numerals are also top notch: individually hand-applied Arabic numeral 12 and 6 with luminous hour markers. The Delphi Achilles is protected by a unique shatter-resistant crystal called Krysterna, a material exclusive to Stuhrling’s line of watches. It looks like I paid way more for it than what I did. One of my friends saw it and loves it and he is going to buy one. The price on Amazon is about 25% less than the retail stores I checked at.The watch body and face are very high quality, heavy and solid but not too heavy like some larger watches I've had like Invicta Divers. My only complaint is the band. I normally love rubber watchbands but this one is cheap and short. I have very small wrists and hands and this barely fit me. So if you have a very thick wrist you will probably need to replace the band. Other than that, it's great. I first thought it might be because of the autowind but then I realized it was actually ahead and not behind in its incorrectness.... I wanted to exchange it but Amazon only offers a refund and if I want to use the watch's warranty I need to pay an extra $40 on to and from shipping and handling.... sucks....
